WHAT IS CLEARLIFT SKIN TIGHTENING TREATMENT?
Clearlift is part of the Harmony XL Pro platform. It can be used on the face and neck, targeting a range of ageing-related issues, including: lines and wrinkles, sagging skin, enlarged pores, pigmentation, crow’s feet, nasolabial lines, marionette creases, sun damage and lip lines. Clearlift is often recommended to patients at The Facebible when a tired appearance is unwanted and impacts the individual’s self-esteem.
THE TREATMENT PROCESS
A handheld device, emitting laser light energy, is passed over the surface of the skin. This penetrates the superficial and middle layers, causing minor trauma to the tissues. As well as stimulating the production of collagen, the body’s healing response will naturally repair any damaged cells. This is a treatment that can be performed in a much quicker time than other laser procedures, and can easily fit in around your day.
AFTERCARE AND RESULTS
Although Clearlift is very gentle and side effects are rare, you would be advised not to exfoliate the treated area for the first 24 hours, as this can overstimulate the skin. You should also ensure that you apply a high SPF to protect sensitive skin from the sun.
For optimal results, The Facebible may recommend a course of 6 treatment sessions, carried out 4 weeks apart. Firmer, tighter skin that looks more youthful is often noticeable after the first session, however the final outcome is likely to be visible at around 2 months after the course is complete.

The loss of collagen and elastin from the skin as a person starts to age, is one of the main causes of lines, wrinkles and sagging skin. Clearlift uses a fractional laser which is excellent in terms of safety, and minimises the risk of injury to the skin and tissues. At The Facebible, our doctors have vast medical knowledge and are expertly trained in performing such procedures.
The laser will cause a slight feeling of snapping against the skin during application. This is very mild and is tolerated well by most of our patients. Feelings of discomfort after the procedure are very rare.
In cases where a patient is prone to sensitive skin, they may experience some redness to the treated area, following the procedure – this will ease within 24 hours. It is likely that this will be the only risk if a thorough consultation has considered you to be a suitable candidate.
The amount of sessions that each patient requires during a course of Clearlift skin tightening may depend on the individual concerns, and expected outcome. It is likely that a series of up to 6 procedures will be required to achieve maximum results.
