WHAT IS STRETCH MARK TREATMENT?
Stretch marks appear on the surface of the skin, usually after a period where the body shape has grown (or shrunk) over a relatively short space of time. THE TREATMENT PROCESS
The Facebible uses a fractional laser technology in this treatment, which works to break down the scar tissue at the same time as triggering the production of new collagen. The laser is applied directly to the affected area, delivering pulses of light to the top layer of the skin. Stretch mark treatment is usually carried out over a series of sessions, and can be used on various areas of the body, including: breasts, upper arms, stomach, thighs and buttocks.
AFTERCARE AND RESULTS
This non-invasive procedure often works best on younger stretch marks, but can still have a noticeable effect on those that have been present for some time. As the treatment course progresses the colouring of the stretch mark will become more like the surrounding skin, and the texture will become smoother – this can also help to boost a person’s self-confidence.
After the treatment the skin may be sensitive so it is important to ensure aftercare advice is followed carefully, including using SPF and avoiding prolonged exposure to the sun.

Sensitive skin as a result of the treatment can become red and swollen, immediately after the procedure. Within 24 – 48 hours the patient should see a significant reduction in these effects, which do not often cause any downtime.
