WHAT IS EMSCULPT NEO?

EMSculpt Neo was launched in the UK in the autumn of 2020. It is an advanced version of the award-winning EMSculpt treatment, which safely and effectively reshapes and recontours the body. Unlike other body contouring treatments, EMSculpt Neo simultaneously burns fat and builds muscle at a rate that can not be solely achieved by the body. 

At The Facebible in Berkshire, we see many patients who are unhappy with the appearance of their body; whether that’s due to excess fat on the thighs, stomach, buttocks, back, upper arms or hips – or even a combination of all these areas. It can be used on anyone of any age and produces great results in a single session or a recommended course of treatments. 

THE TREATMENT PROCESS 

EMSculpt delivers High Intensity Focused ElectroMagnetic (HIFEM) pulses to the chosen area(s) of the body. With EMSculpt Neo, this powerful technology is combined with RadioFrequency (RF) energy to enhance its performance and work the body at a higher level. HIFEM encourages the muscles to contract at the exceptional rate of 20,00 times per 30 minute session – which is the equivalent to doing 20,000 stomach crunches or squats. This helps to remodel the structure of the muscles, as well as producing enough energy to effectively burn fat. When RF energy is introduced at the same time, the added heat helps to burn through the fat stores more efficiently, getting rid of excess deposits. 

Our consultation process assesses the appearance of your body and identifies which areas will benefit from EMSculpt Neo. Our practitioners often recommend a patient undertake a course of 4 treatment sessions, carried out on a weekly basis. This would be the same as a 12 – 16 week, intense, resistance training programme.  

AFTERCARE AND RESULTS

A noticeable change in the appearance of the body can be seen on finishing the recommended course of treatments. EMSculpt Neo can increase muscle mass by up to 25%, and reduce up to 19% of fat. Patients are often very pleased with the results, as the body looks more streamlined, lean and toned. The outcome can be enhanced by repeating the procedure after 3 months, when fat reduction of up to 35% can be achieved. The nature of this treatment means that skin can also become more taut, which is often a concern following fat loss. As well as fat reduction and toning the muscles, the technology used in EMSculpt Neo can also benefit those who need to strengthen their muscles following surgery, diastasis recti (separation of the abdominal muscles) and pelvic floor strengthening. 

There are very few aftercare instructions for this treatment, only that you should take care not to over-exert your body for a few days. The muscles may feel some fatigue after the EMSculpt Neo treatment, much like having done an intense workout at the gym.
